About the Course

In this training, we explore how to make sense of complexity — integrating EMDR’s eight phases with real-world clinical decision-making. Participants will learn how to conceptualize cases through a trauma-informed, attachment-focused lens while staying grounded in both their intuition and their training. Together, we’ll unpack how to: ● Recognize and apply clinical insights with complex clients ● Develop clear, flexible case conceptualizations within the EMDR framework ● Strengthen confidence in trusting your clinical instincts — and knowing when to adapt ● Explore three consultation pathways that support ongoing growth and mastery This is more than a training — it’s a space to grow your confidence, expand your clinical wisdom, and connect with a community of EMDR clinicians dedicated to healing, one client and one clinician at a time.

Meet Your Instructors

Danielle Stam, MSW/RSW and Allison Cornell, LPC-S take you through this heart-centered and practical course designed to help EMDR clinicians grow in confidence, intuition, and clarity when working with complex trauma. Danielle is a Registered Social Worker, EMDRIA-Certified Therapist, and EMDRIA-Approved Consultant with over 20 years of experience in clinical, supervisory, and consultative roles. She completed her EMDR Basic Training in 2019 and has since pursued extensive advanced training in trauma, complex trauma, and dissociation. Allison is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and EMDRIA-Certified Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant with over 18 years of experience as an LPC and school counselor. She completed EMDR Basic Training in 2022 and has pursued additional training in supervision, trauma and dissociation.
